About knight-gear

We are a Liverpool-based financial management team focused on the basics that keep people and organisations steady. Our work blends coaching, planning, and practical tools.

Founded in 2016. We began by supporting local freelancers and have grown to serve community organisations, micro-businesses, and households.

Our goal is to make the fundamentals of financial management feel accessible.

Our story

knight-gear started as a small initiative for Liverpool-based creatives who needed steadier budgeting support. Over time we saw the same challenges across different sectors: irregular income, rising costs, and a lack of time to manage finances.

We built a repeatable framework that prioritises clarity over complexity. Today we partner with local community hubs, workspaces, and charities to deliver that support across the city.

Leadership

Rhea Collins leads the advisory team with a background in finance operations and community development. She focuses on designing plans that fit everyday routines.

Amir Patel oversees client delivery. His speciality is turning raw numbers into simple action lists that teams can follow.

Team approach

We work in small pods so clients always know who to contact. Each pod includes a coach, a planner, and a resource coordinator.

Local expertise Collaborative delivery Consistent check-ins

Company philosophy

We believe that financial management should feel calm and understandable. Our philosophy is to start with clarity, design routines, and maintain accountability through gentle follow-up.

We avoid one-size-fits-all advice. Every plan is built around real-life constraints and the decisions clients make every day.
